Privacy Policy

Baby Muse ("we", "us"), operated by CurlyCorn LLC, is an app for parents and guardians that turns baby photos into stylized keepsake images and short video clips. Because the photos you work with are photos of your child, we hold ourselves to a high standard of care. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

The short version

• Photos you upload are deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
• We never use your photos to train AI models, and our AI processing providers are not permitted to either.
• We don't build face databases. No biometric identifiers are extracted, stored, or matched.
• Your keepsakes live on your device, not in a cloud account. We don't require an account at all.
• We don't sell personal data. Ever.

Information we process

Photos and prompts

When you create a keepsake, the photo you select and the theme description are sent over an encrypted connection to our servers and to our AI processing providers solely to generate your image or video. Uploaded photos and generated results are stored in temporary cloud storage that automatically deletes files within 24 hours. The finished keepsake is saved to your device.

Information stored only on your device

Your baby's name and birthday (if you choose to add them), your saved keepsakes, and your settings are stored locally on your device. The name personalizes themes; the birthday computes milestone dates and schedules local reminders. Neither is transmitted to us except as part of a theme prompt you generate (for example, a theme that paints the name on a banner).

Purchase and subscription data

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. We receive an anonymous user identifier and subscription status so we can allocate your credits. We never see your payment details.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics on our website. In the app we count generation events to enforce fair-use limits. We do not track you across other apps or websites and do not use advertising identifiers.

Children's privacy

Baby Muse is designed for use by parents and legal guardians aged 18 or older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. By uploading a photo of a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or have the guardian's permission. Photos of children are processed transiently as described above — deleted within 24 hours, never used for training, never used to identify anyone.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:

• AI image and video generation providers — fal.ai, Google Gemini, and Replicate — which process photos solely to generate your keepsake and may retain data according to their own retention policies (none are permitted to use your photos for AI training)
• Cloud storage for transient uploads (auto-deletion within 24 hours)
• RevenueCat (subscription status), Apple and Google (payments)
• Hosting and content delivery for this website and our API

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Because we keep almost nothing, most requests are simple: photos are already gone within 24 hours, and on-device data is yours to delete by removing the app. For anything else, contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention & security

Uploaded photos and generated media: deleted automatically within 24 hours. Subscription records: kept while your subscription is active and as required for accounting. All data is transmitted over TLS encryption.

We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
